We’ve written about independent artist Emma McGann several times: about how she used livestreaming app YouNow to build her audience; about the launch of her Alexa skill; and her recent plans for a ‘virtual tour pass’ accompanying physical tours. It’s the first of those that’s relevant to her latest announcement: McGann has launched an ‘Ultimate Livestreaming Guide‘ talking artists and fellow creators through setting up a home studio; creating visuals; sorting out the audio; setting up lighting; and designing a room for the best quality livestreams. With many artists now looking to broadcast live from their homes, it could be some very useful advice.
